Practicing With Utensils

So, it's still a work in progress, and her dexterity needs some fine-tuning, but Ellie most certainly knows *what* to do with the spoon!

I also realize, once again, that Ellie is almost always pictured in her pajamas. I think it is time for me to face y'all and admit to it:

"Hello, my name is Chrystie, and my daughter wears pajamas all day if we don't have any outings planned."

At least I'm honest!

There are days when Oscar doesn't appear in anything other than a diaper. (shrug) It happens. Besides, Ellie looks cute in her PJs so who cares?

More True Confession time... I used to do the same thing with Richard when he was little. Especially when I was pregnant for Jonathan. We had a boarder at the time who chastised me for leaving my kid in pajamas so much. He left later, looking for the Nirvana he even later admitted he never found, ha, ha!

I figure, kids in pj's, who's it hurt? They're happy, so who cares?

I love this - people who admit it. i had a thought the other day posting pics of Ellie that - gee I wonder if people will realize how much time she spends in her jammies.

but don't ya just love jammies?

P.S. your ellie is so cute and I would give my eye teeth for my ellie to have the skills yours does. I know the therapist scared you about the non verbal thing. But that therapist does not know what will be - no one can predict because no one really knows how the brain really works especially if it has done some rewiring.

Your Ellie looks like she is already making a grand splash in life and will continue to do so. She is a bright light!
