Born To Shop

Until a blog-reader commented on the new video of Ellie at the grocery store yesterday, I hadn't realized Richie-Rich "you-tubed" it. We're doing really well with that whole "communication" thing, huh? :-)

At any rate, here she is, my precious walker-walking girl. She looks to be at the end of her stamina rope in this video, as her steps are a little weary and she's pleading with daddy to put her in the cart. I think she'd already walked through the produce section a few times, so she's probably going on a good 20 minutes of walking by this point. It gives you a pretty decent idea of where's she's at though, sweet girl!

Awww! What a sweetie! I had to laugh because I recognized myself in what Richie was doing. Anything to get a cute pic or video "Okay! Almost done! Just one more! Want a cookie?"

As Jess is fond of saying, "What we have here, is a failure to communicate." (He watched "Cool Hand Luke" a few too many times. ;-)) Obviously, I think Ellie is sooooo cute, but she's also telling Daddy plainly, enough walking for now, "I wanna go in the CART!" What a sweetie!!!

She also wanted to go in the cart because she knew that cart = cookie eating time. Tired, yes... but also manipulative ;)

Hey, she's just doing a little problem solving there. . . she wanted a cookie, and she figured out how to get one. ;-)

Oh, I didn't say she wasn't being SMART about it... :)

This is so sweet Audrianna has yet to even walk with her walker at the grocery store or anywhere really. We tried once but she made like 5 steps before she seemed to get nervous and want me to carry her.
