Foolin' Around

You'd be surprised at how difficult it is to find SUPER toys for Ellie. The kind of toys that develop her sharp and ever-growing mind, while catering to her physical abilities. Ellie loves playing in the kitchen, and adores the toy kitchen at daycare, but, obviously, she can't stand at the sink and pretend to do fake china dishes, or reach up to put her plastic brownies-resembling-poop into the microwave. BUT, look at this! A mini toy kitchen that she's able to play at while sitting! PERFECT!

Miss Ellie Mae has also realized that she can "talk" to Daddy via the air ducts! When she yells, "Hello Daddy!" into the register in the living room floor, the sound travels straight to the duct in Richard's office (and vice versa). It's pretty cute RIGHT NOW, but ask Richard in another month if he's still liking this game...

Ha ha - does that Elmo make weird noises? She should send *that* through the ducts non-stop.

(No, I still have *not* forgotten the Junior Asparagus that bleated "God is Bigger than the Boogey-Man" that you bought for our daughter. It got pretty scary when it was low on batteries)

"He's bigger than Godzilla or monsters on TV!" Why do I know that? WHY? (Jane slams head on desk repeatedly)

Oh, the horror...

My MIL presented Oscar with a stuffed dog that sings "You know ya make me wanna SHOUT!" and flaps its fluffy red ears. My boy took one look at it, grabbed his trusty red spatula, and started beating the thing with much energy. Like mother like son...?

We have many of the same toy issues. It takes forever to find a toy that she likes and is able to play with. When we do though it's so fun to see her playing with it! Worth every penny!

Love that she is talking to Daddy through the airducts....smart girl!

How cool! Love the little kitchen. And that's hysterical with her hollering through the duct at Daddy!
